For those 57.9% of you who actually kept Ibanez in your active roster this week, you can thank me. After waiting for Mr. Consistent to show up for all of April, I benched him for the first part of this week on my Auction Championship team. Results? A 0.667 BA (8 for 12), four runs, five RBI's.

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Special thanks to Delmon Young, Logan Morrison, and Angel Pagan - the other three fifths of my stellar drafted outfield. For without them, I wouldn't have been forced to leave Mr 0-35 Ibanez in the lineup this week! I tried and tried to take him out. But with those injuries and Emilio Bonifacio and Xavier Paul already active it meant Ibanez had to stay in the lineup.

Much rather be lucky, than good. ;)
