Lots of money spent on Melancon this week and it can't be too ensuring knowing that manager Brad Mills will not commit to him as the closer. Sounds like a closer by committee process based on his comments.

it's just like any other situation in which the previous closer got ousted. if mellonhead produces, he'll be the guy. if not, next!

Also, I'd like to add that your stuff is weak and there's pretty much no chance you still have the closer job in a month.
