Paul Gromek and Lindy Hinkelman continue to wage a spirited battle for the top spot in the Main Event. Paul holds a slim nine-point lead over Lindy heading into today's action.

Lindy, though, is in first place in the Auction Championship entering play today followed by Ante Meich and Ken Magner.

The duo of Gino Yu and Stephen Kim are still in first in the Double Play event while Emmett Ruland now has the top spot in the Double Play Live. Terry Passalacqua has moved to the top of the standings in the Draft Champions event.

Lindy is having an impressive season to date. Not only is he first in the Auction Championship and second in the Main Event, but he is fifth in the Double Play Live and 10th in the Double Play.

Makes you wonder why he didn't take a team in the Draft Championship event too, doesn't it? :D

[/QUOTE]Granderson, Kemp and Verlander are on all three of his teams and Greinke is on the Main Event, Auction and an Online Double Play. Those are the common factors and if Greinke finishes strong these teams are going to be even better down the stretch than they have been to this point. Congrats for targeting the right players Lindy.

Rumor has it that after being passed over for the NFBC HOF this past Spring, the Pig Farmer is using this season to prove the point that he was not a one hit wonder.

Lindy thinks he can kick CHILDS butt at the bowling alley as well, even if the boy wonder can roll the ball with both hands!

Hey CHILDS, how about a Superfecta for the Preakness! Are you DIALED IN yet? I know that I am.

AMAZING LINDY! It takes a lot to impress me in our game but you certainly have. Keep up the good work but try to leave some crumbs behind for the rest of us.

Major kudos to Lindy Hinkelman this morning as he's vaulted into the lead in the overall championship. This is the latest I can ever remember a past NFBC Main Event champion being in the lead of the overall championship. Not only is Lindy leading the race for the $100,000 grand prize, but he's also in first place in the Auction Championship as of today and he's fifth in the Live Double Play and 12th in the Online Championship. WOW. Great job CHAMP and keep it up.

And this Bustouts guy isn't too bad either as I see our former $100,000 champ leading the NFBC Diamond League as of today. ;) Good job both of you. Keep it up and there might be plaques waiting for you at next year's Las Vegas draft!!! :D

Looks like Lindy wants to be considered more Mantle than Maris. Helluva job Lindy.

It's amazing for someone like me who can't believe how difficult it is/was to win one league against this level of competition to see someone like you who not only dominated multiple leagues, but multiple formats and now multiple years. Great job and very impressive.

lindy has $928 FAAB remaining. has overall lead with a lot of FAAB left. seems like a lot of implied pressure to keep team steamrolling
