Called up with Victorino on the DL (despite saying yesterday they were not going to call him up yet)
Hoping the $7 i spent a few weeks ago is going to be rewarded big time.

He's not going to start against LHP for a while, if at all. I wouldn't use him this weekend. Only game he will start is tomorrow.

brown is part-timer for now. if he plays like he did in his first callup, he will stay part-timer

[/QUOTE]in AAA this year he has 9Ks in 41 at bats. nothing great. against Lefties he has 6Ks in 19 at bats. that's pretty bad. sounds like platoon.
his K rate in the majors was pretty bad last year. if he doesn't improve that, he'll be punted back to the minors when Vic returns from DL

The Phillies want him to be the everyday RF if he's ready. This isn't Willie Bloomquist; Brown was the No. 1 prospect in the minors at the end of the season last year. I expect they will ease him into it against LHB, but he will get most of the starts against RHP, That said, he's a marginal play on a good team in a 12 team league.

Francisco home run right on cue.
