I just wanted to state I think it's a disgrace if MLB ever again starts the regular season out of the USA. They can test market other countries in the pre or post season if they think it's worth it...but opening day/week is sacred. It's one of my two self-made holidays each year...working on the 6th year in a row of refusing to work on the "real" opening day...the day when they televise the games all day long (triple header)...watching all the sunny stadiums fill with kids and adults also cutting school/work for a special day of family and sport!

The other day is "superbowl monday"...that one is strictly dedicated to hang-over recovery...and allows me to thouroughly enjoy Superbowl Sunday without the thought of waking up for work the next day!

I advise others to follow suit!

Long live sports!

Tom - I know this info is somewhere just jumping off a page or 10....

When is the deadline for free agent bidding this week?

Will the free agent deadline be different next week?

Is it true that lineups are not due until a few minutes before the first Monday game of each week? I know this week is different if you have Yankees or Red Sox.

Thanks,

Pete

OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Nope, it's 7 p.m. ET every week.

Thanks,

Pete Yes. Here's what it states in our rules:

Starting lineups for the upcoming week must be finalized five minutes before the start of the first game every Monday.

Will there be a spreadsheet available with all the drafts and the average draft position of all the players like last season? Or do I need to create one myself?

All of that info should be available on the team page.

STATS has said all of that info will be available on the team page. If that's not correct let us know and we'll contact them again.

Tom -

Stats made a change for the worse in FAAB bidding. Previously you could click on the dollar amount of a bid to edit it.

Now you can't. Lets say I've got a bid for $10 with 5 conditionals behind it ... if I want to change it to $11, I've got to cancel the whole thing and start over. Why would they go backwards?

Hopefully they were just trying to slide one past us to see if we're paying attention.

Is anyone else having trouble with the 'set lineup' page. It scrambles when I try to scroll down it and it's been that way all day. I can't change my lineup.
