I have no vested interest in any of this discussion, and in the only league (out of too many to count) that I drafted Soria I added Crow 5 or 6 weeks ago. However, I could not resist the opportunity to post this pic.
No harm is meant to Glenn, Catch, Sack, Gekko, The Counting Crows, Aaron Crow, Sheryl Crow, The American Society for the Protection of Crows, Greg, Tom and especially Chest, who just might take me out back of Fantasy Camp and beat me with a rubber hose.
Besides, these boards have been too quiet for too long.

Would have responded sooner, cept it was my birthday yesterday and I didn't want your long winded response to blow out my birthday candles. First off, I have no desire to go line for line with you. So, I'll try to be brief.
Your bid was only noticed because it was in a league we share and I happened to read your posted information AFTER the deadline. Why post that rotoworld info which clearly was negative towards Crow and then go hard for the guy? Sorry if it hurts your feelings, but I can only think of one. For the record, I didn't make a bid on Crow but I'll give you a tip........I'm always looking for next closer in wait.
I like some of the big words you were able to pull out in your closing, impressive. You lost points for the name calling. However, I'm going to spin that Sherlock tag into a positive. Sherlock, I believe, was an investigator? In my professional life I've never even risen to the detective level. I thank you for the compliment.
It is obvious I touched a nerve, good. Now if you can stop the name calling and stomping up and down on other message topics in referring back to this topic I'll reread your last line and try hard not to post any patronizing nonsense about you in the future. I realize you are the type of guy that insists on the last word, so the floor is open. Best of luck the rest of the way. I hope that you hold onto Crow and he works out for you this season. : )
RASKOL: thanks for bringing a laugh, good stuff!

. A common misconception is that one's belief in the immediate quality of a player and the bid that same person will place on the player are somehow linked. The correlation is loose at best, and depending on the current standings and texture of the team, might be negative. Sometimes you have to bid for ultimate upside even if you believe that upside is extremely unlikely, if that upside would fill a big need for you.

. Ken, though I hardly would call it name-calling nor a level above & beyond where you initially & continue to bring the discussion, I'll admit that there was probably little need for me to go there. In my defense however, it was very late when I caught your post, the end of an extremely long & difficult day, and to be perfectly honest, your posts pissed me off.
I felt my initial response had given you the opportunity to either let it go or to reach out to me privately with your concerns like a gentlemen, but instead you decided to continue your public attack, and your tone was both condescending and holier than thou. You goated me into having to defend myself and I didn't appreciate it.
Even in this latest post you continue to insult. You also continue to ask questions that I've already answered. Just re-read the "long-winded post" of mine you referenced, the answers are still there. Since you bring no new questions and I feel I more than answered your original ones, I've got nothing else to add. Your feelings on the subject are no longer a concern to me. Believe what you feel you need to believe. I'll know what I know. We can leave it at that.
I'll agree with one of the comments you've added to this thread in that I also initially thought you were a good guy when I first met you this year. So I'll leave this discussion & debate for good with the hope that you enjoyed your birthday more than either of us probably enjoyed this thread.

I realized the deleted comment was likely inappropriate for a family board, and even more importantly I decided I didn't want to lose anymore points.
I think I'll just let my previous post stand alone.

i've spoken to both Ken and Glenn. Both sure seem like nice guys. weird to see them go at each other.
as for the topic at hand, anyone hear if rizzzzzzzzzo got called up? if he did, one might want to consider betting the ranch on him. most of the top minor league prospects are already up. who you waiting on?? the clock is ticking, soon the season will be half over. get an impact player while he can still help you for 2/3 of the season. good luck!

In all seriousness Ken, I do respect you as both a player & person. This did get out of hand and I agree let's put it past us.
Thanks for the PM, it's appreciated and it is time to move forward. Good luck the rest of the way. Should be a challenge & a blast no matter how it eventually plays out.
