Dealing With Anonymous Owners In 2012

A lot has been debated about anonymity in the drafts so far with good reasons for and against.

My opinion is ....what does it hurt by having this option? Those who think others may "copy" their drafts are somewhat protected and those others should not care. You still are drafting against 11 or 14 other owners regardlesss of who they are. There are going to be many " experts" in each and every draft whether you know who they are or not.

After, 8 years of drafting, all would have to agree these leagues get tougher every year. Those who think there is an advantage to remaining anonymous should be given that right.

For the first and probably last time in my life......I actually agree with Mark!!!

Not to worry, I have others. I fear no one in this competition and happily seek out the best of the best that the NFBC has to offer, and I look forward to competing against them each year. So when I win, I can say that I beat the best in doing so. Then I can say when the bludgeoning is over, that I am among the best as well! ;) You have all been put on notice.

Good post Furies! You know how to smack talk the right way. Other posters in this thread should take a few lessons from you! :D

I've got to admit...all this venom from some of you guys has really got me thinking about going "all in" time-wise like I did in 2010.

Another chance for someone as EVIL as me to bust some of you NICE guys up on the leaderboards. hmmmm...

I for 1 do not care about the anonymous .I am not for it or against it. It does seem as though everybody should be on the same playing field(all known or no known). How about when a league is full and you know the 12 or 14,15 names in the league, you pull the draft spots and email everybody their individual draft spot. When the league is set up all team owners will be listed as anonymous.this way you know who is in the draft room but not what spot they are drafting from. After the last draft all team owners names will go from hidden to the owners name.(now alot of people will tell you their draft spot and obviously draft room chatter might tip a few things off.) It is nice to know the better drafters sleepers but I can tell you that I pay attention to every player drafted. When and where he is taken.

Don't know you other than your work, but whether or not I agree with you, you would be missed in this competition. For better or for worse, you are one of the polarizing characters and top competitors in this game that help make it so much fun. And thanks for the props...you anonymous bastard, you. :D :D ;)

P.S. My vote is "go all in!" and show us all a thing or two!

Jim - Can you stop trying to instigate trouble on Greg's boards. We know you are a proven hypocrite, but we would all appreciate it if you would finally move on. You said as much last night in your post below. Somehow I knew we couldn't trust you! :D

Rockit: Yes sir.

JC: We want you to go to York, PA...immerse yourself among the citizens, find Mark Srebro and distract him.

R: Distract him sir?

JC: Yes. We simply cannot allow him to prepare unencumbered for the 2012 NFBC. He'd be far too dangerous.

R: Yes sir.

JC: Good luck....take care Rockit, they don't call him Gekko for nothing
Always be closing.
