If my calculations are correct, we are only 4 weeks and 1 day away from the start of the NFBC Slow Draft Season!

I only have to rank my DH's now and I will be ready to go! ;)

Hi Greg,

Just trying to bump this up on the message board list and find out where we are at for a start date for these slow drafts! Is Monday Nov 28th what we are shooting for?

Lets get these leagues filled up and light this candle!

However, it's also one of the biggest developmental changes they're making so they don't have an ETA on when it will be implemented. It's possible we may start the drafts without it and add it later. We'll update everyone when we know more.

unfortunately, i only see myself being able to play in slow drafts (leagues without FAAB) this year due to time constraints. i am hopeful STATS can get this done!

if it doesn't look like they will have it done, please let us know as that will save me a couple hundred of hours prepping.

Okay, I've been out of touch this last week, but I wanted to bring this thread back up among the clutter on our boards. We should be able to start hosting these shortly after Thanksgiving and right now we have NINE SPOTS LEFT in the second $150 Slow Draft League. But until then, just email me at [email protected] if you want to join or post your intentions here. Thanks all.

Here's the current signup list for that league:

Greg - Will you be offering one-night 50 round DC's again this year? Maybe you can have one a week from the week of December 5th - the end of February. That would be about 13 week (leagues). I (or my friend ) would participate in at least 10 of them @ $150 a pop.

Let me know if this is an option, and then I don't need to worry about STATS getting a "auto one round only" option. Thanks.

Let me know if this is an option, and then I don't need to worry about STATS getting a "auto one round only" option. Thanks. Geez, you really think there are 15 people per week who want to do 50-round sitdown drafts? Heck, corral them and we can still run those at $150 a pop. I'll do them all day if you can find the folks. But I have to think it's going to be tough. ;)

As Tom stated earlier, we're working on that auto pick option and we want it as much as you do. It will definitely speed up the Slow Drafts and move these 50-rounders a little more quickly. But it's not a simple programming change and we need to test it out thoroughly, too. We have to make sure it works perfectly and the way you folks are requesting if we're going to do this. It's very possible this won't be ready when the draft room is done, but we'll see.

I'll try to get more timetables today and post what I know. Trust me, we're excited to get the draft season going too, but we also want to do all of this right. Thanks for the interest all.
