Not rushing anybody, but I'll be heading back home from my wife and my anniversary weekend in a couple hours and I'm not sure what my access and availability to make a pick will be. I'll be traveling for about 5-6 hours. If we can get to my pick in the next hour or so, it might help keep the draft moving.

If you want to send (PM) me a name that would be fine, if not I understand that also.

Shawn, too bad you can't have his stats behind the mic! even as a kid I could tell this guys takin' one too many line drives to the head! He was a fun one to listen to when the Phillies routinely destroyed the Mets back in the 70's
remember Glenn, good times (not as much fun as 07 though )

My next pick was either going to be a starter or a closer. Just am finding that starters with Era and whip both low and wins and ks at least usable are really just not there anymore. This was the closest I could find to that.
Spud Chandler 1943
20 W / 1.64 ERA / .992 WHIP / 134 K / 253 IP
He also won the MVP that year as well. Which is a bit surprising as it was not that great of a season.

1943 was the middle of WW2. Most likely a lot of the best players were in the military.

Sorry, had to rush out before I could decide how to sort my choices and send off to one of you guys. However, found a spot with internet access.......
The pick will be our most recent 30/30 player and one of the more surprising for me. That player.....
Jacob Ellsbury 2011
BA - .321
HR - 32
RBI - 105
R - 119
SB - 39

Do you ever get the feeling that no matter what you do it’s wrong? That’s the way I feel in this draft. Round after round I tell myself the pieces will start to fall in place, yet round after round I’m in 14th or 15th place in Todd’s updates.
Too late to make a major shift in gears now, I might as well stick with the plan and see what happens. At least I now have a better idea what not to do in the next All-Time Draft.
I’ll take 1999 Shawn Green-OF
HR-42
R-134
RBI-123
SB-20
BA-.3094
