It's impossible to recreate the rosters with two blind rounds, so 4 is overkill. You can guess, but cannot know for sure. No reason to have 4 - the additional uncertainty takes away from the game's strategy. This should be a game of skill - not a lottery. Keep in mind the reason for the blinds was to prevent collusion - that's all. This draft would be like a chess match if we took away the blinds, especially in the end game. You know 2 teams need a mi and so do you. Do you take one now? Hope they pass? There would be small battles for every category spot
and at every position. Feels like this draft is sort of winding down, without the blinds it would just be heating up!
I completely disagree. If we knew everyone’s blind players, the excitement of this draft would be over. The statistical differences between the remaining players at each individual position are so small that there would be no way to separate you from the next guy. If you both need a MI, the two players chosen would be so close in stats that it wouldn’t matter which guy you
get. And if it did matter, then I would want to be the owner picking second. If I already know what you have, then I know what to take to beat you.
I think there would be a lot more indraft adjustments (skill) without the blinds. I guess we will have to agree to disagree
