Hurry up and wait

Fellas, you can send me lists, but I won't be making contact till team one sends its pick.

I'll post the update after the final pick in Round 22.

Looks like we should just send final blinds to Dan and he can let us know when he as them, then we can decide if we want to pick a time to gather here or just post final standings.

These players have to be position specific, so the lists shouldn't have to be extensive.

Two or three names for the early rounders. Three or four for the late teams should be good.

For those that send in one at a time, I'll let you know when I get to you.

Thanks!

I've got a few things to do on this fine Saturday, should I hang around?

I'm not sure how you guys wanna do the final reveal, I'm ok with anything. I will be in/out all afternoon.

This has been a good experience, I've learned about players I didn't previously know and I have a much better understanding of how excel works :D

Congrats to the winner!

As a trustee, I have little interest in who wins, and really have not followed the competitive side at all. I'm intrigued with the names selected more so than who selected the names.

With this in mind, I'd like to ship the blind players to Todd at the end of this round so that he can verify roster's and make sure there are no duplicate players chosen.

Is this alright with everybody?

Congrats to the winner! My thoughts as well. I thought I was pretty hot stuff when I figured out the Sum function on my Excel... then I looked at Todd's spreadsheet, instantly wishing I'd paid more attention in my computer science classes.

I too could probably make a time if we set it later today. My wife said she'd prefer that to me waking her up at 5am again (what can I say... I can't turn my mind off!). And, seriously, if you guys want to post it later this evening and I can't make it... by all means enjoy. Not holding out much hope at this point anyway.

Best of luck to all!

Is this alright with everybody? Sounds fine by me. No duplicate players so far.

Final blind round includes, according to my tracker----

4 pitchers

2 catchers

1 3b

1 CI

2 MI

5 UT

9 teams still under the IP requirement with the pitchers showing.

3 of those teams with about 350-400blind innings, and Gekko with almost 600 blind innings!!!!

Dave surprised me with the Julio Franco pick, I was almost certain he had Alomar!

It would be 3 catchers and zero 3b if Torre is used from 1971. Don't think any other changes are likely unless somebody took an early round blind as a UT.

I've tried to get hold of Glenn, but he must be off the grid. I've got some things I want to do, so I'll be out for some of the afternoon.

I'm hoping to complete this by this evening, then maybe we can all get together later tonight or tomorrow.

I have really enjoyed watching all the players selected in this draft. Thanks to all participants for providing some exceptional entertainment for NFBC Land.

Something that crossed my mind today in regards to this draft with 1st place receiving a Main Event entry is that do you guys have a contingency plan in place in the event there is a tie for 1st? It might be something you would like to discuss before you get to that point.

Just a thought of mine - thought I'd pass it along.

Carry on and thank you!

Carry on and thank you! Second place is a $500 NFBC main event "credit" so I would assume in the event of a tie the prize money will be split and given out as credit for the main.
