Auction scheduling question
If I register for the NL auction, how long would it take? I see you blocked off 9 am until 4 pm. I'm just seeing if a very long lunch is an option due to work!!

Auction scheduling question
Yeah, the NL Auction League will take 6 hours to complete and maybe 6+. You won't be able to fit it all in during a lunch break, unless you bid for all the stars right away and leave someone else to do your dirty work on like 13 $1 players!
I'm advising everyone to eat a hearty breakfast, bring drinks and food with you to the Draft table and then be ready to eat a good meal afterwards. For owners who are doing both auction leagues, we'll make sure food is either available or close by in each city.
We'd love to have you on board if you can swing it.

Auction scheduling question
This question is for all auction league formats....i'm assuming that there will be one break halfway through the auction(s)...correct? If so, how long will this break be, 10-15 minutes?
thanks.
thanks.

Auction scheduling question
Actually, for the auction leagues we take breaks as needed. Trust me, when you've been through a few rounds of tough bidding for the top players, everyone agrees to take a break at the end of the round (each person throwing out a player for bidding) and do a money check. It allows everyone to have a potty break, catch their breath, grab a drink and still have the correct remaining dollar values for everyone. I'd say we have about three 15 minute breaks per auction. We obviously will try to tighten the schedule this year because there's a lot going on, but the breaks are needed.
I hope this helps.
