Walla Walla announces retirement from fantasy sports

Post by Walla Walla » Fri Apr 07, 2006 8:24 am

On advice from PittsIsIt95 I’ve decided to take my ball and go home. Its been fun and I’ve enjoyed meeting you all. After this season I’ll fade away to the Walla Walla retirement home. Kevin D. don’t bet against this one. ;)

Thanks to Scott, Shawn, Kevin, David, George and others who’ve been there the last three years.

:D

walla walla, i have no idea who you are but you should not let some faceless emails deprive you of something you enjoy. people can be smart asses and down right rude when they do not have to look you in the eye, it just makes them look small. i played last year and remember seeing your emails. just ignore them and PLAY BALL and have fun.

Whenever I think back on my time playing against Walla Walla I cannot help but think no one talked to people with such little respect, but yet was so sensitive. He will be missed...

Eddie, Oh I can take it. When Greg starts in about my comments getting old and I've seen so many posts over the years worse than mine go without comment. I stop and say enough. I'm not going to pay top dollar expecting top dollar return. Than hear how my complaints are getting old. Fix the problems like Stats! Hey as a customer theres only one way to protest. Stop paying for services you think are bad. If that gets everyones panties twisted too bad.

Redsox, Lets see. Last round of the draft you pick Carlos Silva. Its my turn I pick Steve Trachsel. But I'm told Trachsel was alway picked. But guess what they where wrong. I'm told you asked for him before. So as the last pick not wanting to cause a problem I agree to allow you to have Steve Trachsel and I would take Silva.

Yeah your welcome! You little chicken dung!

Actually Walla Walla, I said "Steve Trachsel" I am told by the organizer that he is taken, therefore I choose Carlos Silva. Come to find out Steve Trachsel is available so claim him because he was originally not taken. This makes Carlos Silva available. you then take him. He was the last pick in the entire draft and you started him. Good mgmt move! Dont blame me for your stupidity.

What's this? No abuse for the selection of Johnny Damon with the 30th overall pick?

ReDSox2, By the rules I could have taken him. You should have raised the issue if you were tracking the draft. You didn't so I could have had him. I allowed you to have him to avoid a problem with the draft and the NFBC. So like always one good turn deserves a kick in the teeth. The point of this is I did you a favor out of respect. You turn around and slap me here on the board. Pretty much somes up why I'm quitting the game.

I just checked your previous posts and you are always moaning and complaining here. You start a post proclaiming that you are retiring! Do you want sympathy from us here? Do us a favor and come back next year! Your donation is always accepted.
