NY1 and Lee was active at the start of the week. I also thought the Cubs waited until after 00:01 on Friday to DL him.

Good question for Greg

Good question for Greg Absolutely, there is no way D. Lee should have been allowed to be moved. I have him in BOTH of my leagues and I checked Friday morning. I COULD NOT move him. So I did not bother to look cloer to the first game since it has been stated that at 12:01 Friday morning, the deadline has occurred and Stats would not allow anything to come in later. Stats dropped the ball on this one. ANy D. Lee should be nullified.

guys, I am not sure what happend, but STATs doesn't have a for sure rule on when they put players on DL. I don't know their exact mechanism to check the DL list but they probably have several batch jobs. You check throughout Thursday, Friday before Games just in case. No one should assume they know STATS mechanism to check the official DL line unless they are the STATS programmers...

The last official statement from NFBC i.e. Greg-- 12:01am Friday is the deadline for a player to be placed on the DL list to allow a bench change for Friday- Sunday games. Regardless of Stats error- it needs to be fixed -- reversal of all D Lee bench moves of Friday. This is from one owner of D Lee -- L.V 8

I believe that Greg made his infamous 12:01am comment in reference to those upset that they had to "sit by their computer" all day on Friday. It's a nice amendment to the rules, and one that I would support wholeheartedly. However, the bottom line is that the rules do not support this statement, and apparently, neither does our stat service.

My advice would be to make any future rule clarifications made public via e-mail. A change on the actual Rules page might help as well.
