Will the Friday DL Rule count toward Myers' ( ) leave of absence? I know there's not a Friday Jerk Rule, but it's quite a unique situation.

my guess is only if he is actually placed on the DL. And I'm not sure if being a jerk is one of the official reasons. The rule is specifically for DLed players and should not be subjectively applied under any circumstances.

He was placed on the "inactive list". Is that similar to the bereavement list or the disabled list?

Myers will NOT be eligible to be DL'd. The inactive list is not considered part of the DL list. Sorry.
