I assume that one-game playoffs will not affect the nfbc, but what if any make-up games are scheduled for Monday, October 2nd? Will they count? There would, of course, be no faab period next Sunday regardless, right?
I remember the Yankees and D-Rays almost had a game the day after the season a few years ago because it would have affected home-field advantage.

Hi bjoak - This subject has come up in previous years. Read this link for last year's reply. One-game playoffs DO count, as do makeup games. Week 26 rosters will be used; ie, no changes can be made the day before the playoff.

FYI -
If the Astros are within 1/2 game of St. Louis either way after Sunday, then the one game playoff will not be played until Tuesday. That's because St. Louis would first have to make up a rainout that was never re-scheduled. (Hey, who would have thought the biggest choke in baseball history would happen). Then, if after that make up game, the two teams are tied, the playoff would be Tuesday.
So Greg, is there anything in the rules to prevent a lineup change for a makeup game?
So, it is possible that we won't know who wins each league until Wed. a.m.

I would think a line-up change for a make-up game would be unfair to the players that have already closed their books.

Take back that last reply Plymouth. I didn't read your message properly at first.

My understanding is that lineups set for games starting Friday September 29th are in effect through the completion of the season, whenever and however long that may take.
It is also possbile that the Central division loser on Tuesday may have to play a game against a Western division team on Wednesday for the wild card. Not likely but still mathematically possible I believe.
