just a quick question re MDC. Do we still get a full premium membership to MDC upon paying our entry fee into the NFBC? my old log-in does not seem to be working.

thanks!

this seems to be the log-in for the basic, not the premium membership, but thanks for the info.

Greg, is that the way it works? only basic membership?

thanks!

I e-mailed Jason twice about this same issue. I never received a response. I finally just signed up for $3.00 a month.

I guess his silence = $3.00 a month.

jw Yes, as a member of the NFBC you are entitled to full premium access to Mock Draft Central.

When you log-in, if you're still being shown as a limited member, it is because we have yet to receive your name from the NFBC.

From what I understand, we have just received a fresh list, so be on the lookout for a batch of new accounts sometime today.

thanks! As Geoff said above, you get the premium membership once you've been given access by MDC. We send them a new list of signups each Friday during the early months and then more regularly as the signups start pouring in. We missed them on Friday, but sent the new update of names to them today. I believe you are on that list John.

Enjoy and thanks again to MDC for providing this free service to our members.

Does the upgrade to premium include those who are only signed up for a satellite, or must one be a Main Event participant? (asked the man who is signed up only for some satellites...).

MDC is the biggest perk given to us that play these games. Look forward to taking part in the Mocks over the next 2 months.

I signed up for the NFBC a week or so ago. Still can't get Premium access to the Mockdraftcentral site. Sent emails to them, per the recommendation in this thread and no one has replied...??

Premium (subscription) is a totally different thing (that most of us here don't use) but you can sign up and pay for by following the instructions on the site.

[/QUOTE]There is no need to sign up. Signing up for the NFBC gives one full access to all of MDC's premium features.

There is a process involved for getting premium access to the NFBC'ers; sometimes it takes a few days to get everything set up for new signups.

I believe that I received your e-mail yesterday in-passing, I'll make sure that you get all set up in the morning.

We do have two accounts for you, so that could be the problem. Your NFBC premium account is under your cox.net e-mail address.

How long does it take to get on the MDC site? I signed up yesterday for two satellite leagues. As I'm new to NFBC, I'd like to take a crack at a mock draft or two before the real thing. Thanks!

We typically send our weekly signups to MDC every Friday though we did send them a batch today. So if you signed up yesterday you may be on that list. If not, you should be all set to go by the weekend. If you have any problems after that, get in touch with me via e-mail ([email protected]) and we'll get you hooked up.

Thanks Tom. I look forward to the competition and what appears to be healthy banter from what I've read on the message boards.

Premium access is included in your NFBC membership. If you're having trouble e-mail me and I'll make sure it gets taken care of.
