Greg, Didn't Hafner get in over 10 games at 1B last season?

not that Alex Cintron is even employed right now but will he be a UTIL if signed?
Believe me, I am not suggesting he should even be drafted but guys like him get hot even so often and then are picked up in FAAB.
In 2007 he was 2B(14), 3B(19), SS(17)

In 2007 he was 2B(14), 3B(19), SS(17) Yes, 19 games at 3B doesn't qualify. That's a crazy one, but under our rules he would be UT-only. I've added him above and Jeff Clement, too.

I see three players whose eligibility only makes sense according to "NFBC Commissioner rule":
Josh Anderson (21 total games played, 19 at OF)
Ian Stewart (35 total games played, 11 at 3B)
Joey Votto (24 total games played, 17 at 1B)
Votto was mentioned on a different thread.
I just want to make sure that these eligibilities are, indeed, because of an conscious decision by the NFBC. Also, it would be good if all such decisions were listed at a known place on the website or message boards.

See, even by making our eligibility rules even more strict this year, we've cornered ourselves on certain September callups. So I'll keep adding these players to the list and before Draft Day we'll have a sheet or an area on the site for the final eligibilities. Keep bringing up any players that you have a question on.

Couldn't find (or didn't see) Mark Antonelli (San Diego) listed at 2B, 3B or Utility.
Can't access any player profiles off the site. Guess Stats must be upgrading because I'm getting some wild rosters for teams.
Did I miss him? Where will he be slotted to start the season?
Thanks

Thanks Well, he played at 2B last year in the minors and thus if he started Opening Day in San Diego, he would qualify at 2B. We don't list every player who spent all of 2007 in the minors and didn't appear in the majors in 2007 on our eligibility list as that would be too overbearing. If you have a question on any of these guys, ask here or just see where he was listed last year in the minors.

Here are three other players that I believe should be listed under Utility. Please feel free to take any of them in the first 3 rounds, especially if you're in my league!

Greg Norton Yup, good call on all three. I'll add them to the list now.

"Players who played less than 20 games total in the majors last year will be eligible at the position they played the most games at, not including DH or pinch-hitting"
So what am I missing?

Greg,
It appears as if Alberto Callaspo & Kendry Morales are utility only players. What's your take?

e) Players who played 20 or more games in the majors last year and didn't play 20 or more games at one position will be deemed UT-only eligible in 2008 unless otherwise designated by the NFBC Commissioner. The NFBC Commissioner will rule on player eligibility prior to the draft as he deems necessary. Those eligibility lists are final.
