Lastings Milledge

Post by Tony Cincotta » Mon Mar 31, 2008 4:25 am

I won ( maybe the incorrect term) on my auction bid for Lastings Milledge. I know it is only one night but I am alarmed. One he swings at every pitch thrown. He tried to get out of the dugout and take Bush deep but thank god the Secret Service was there to stop him. Then the AB before Zimmerman ended the game. Milledge hits a routine ground ball is out by 15 feet. Yet like a little leaguer he needed to get his uniform dirty with a head first slide into first base ? Head First slides into first are not a great move but when the first baseman is already throwing the ball back to the pitcher is ridiculous. Should I worry about Lastings Milledge ?

I took Milledge late in a home run pool. You think he can hit 20 homers this year.

I think he will get close, but 15-17 is what I am predicting.

I hope I am wrong and he hits 25+! :D

I'm not. Exactly... Honestly , Lastings Millege is easily one of the most talented position players in MLB... There is know dought that he is a tremendous athlete.. If he learns to lay off the outside breaking balls, he's an All-Star by accident..

Tony in Jacksonville How do you feel now that he blasted a two-run shot off Ryan Madson in the sixth on Monday at Philadelphia, leading his team to an 11-5 victory.

He finished 2-for-4 with three runs scored as well.

Does three consecutive posts in the same thread qualify as talking to yourself?
