Can we move players in and out of the lineup by putting them on the DL or is that strictly for other leagues outside the main event?
So; are you saying that you can use the DL in and out like that regardless of whether a player is actually on the real DL?
For example, I have Rollins and Harden on my team; Rollins is scheduled to come back on Thursday (I did not know until today) and Harden maybe this weekend. Can I actually put them into my lineup for Friday and the weekend since they are coming off of the DL?
I know we can pull players that go on the DL for Friday, but can we do the opposite?
Thanks,
RW

I would think you can, only if you currently have a DL player in you starting lineup at those positions...or someone gets hurt and DL'ed before the FRI cutoff at those positions.

RW Ryan, no you can't put players from your reserve onto your active starting lineup unless you have a player in your starting lineup who is actually DL listed. That would be the only way to get a player from your reserve (in the case of Harden and Rollins who are DL eligible now) active for this weekend.
The reason is obvious: We are trying to ease the pain for owners when players go on the DL Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. The goal isn't to allow them to get starts from some players during the first half of the week and then replace those guys with players who are coming off the DL on the weekend. With those guys, you have to make the tough decisions at the beginning of the week and live with them. This is the same rule for the main event or the satellites.
I hope this helps.
