Stat corrections?

Post by Schwartzstops » Tue Jun 24, 2008 3:31 pm

What is the timing for making stats corrections? The Arizona OS took away a hit for Luis Castillo in the June 11 game at Arizona, removing two ER's from Brandon Webb's record. When will that be reflected in the stats?

Yes, I've had Daisuke Matsuzaka AND Bronson Arroyo in the last 72 hours, I need all the help I can get.

This has happened in the past and I remember it happening to Greg Maddux last year. If this happened as you describe above, it should have been reflected in Webb's year-to-date total as soon as MLB made it official. Let me know if you see it reflected. Thanks.

Stat corrections?

Hey Greg, just wanted to check in on this one again; Webb's corrected YTD ERA should be 3.21, but STATS still has him at 3.38, which does not reflec this scoring change. I believe the OS change was made Monday or Tuesday last week. Please check it out?

Thanks!

Greg, sorry to be a nuisance but this is still not fixed and Webb pitches again tonight. I have proof of this change I can e-mail to you if necessary?

Thanks!

[/QUOTE]This scoring change will be made tonight and show up in tomorrow's standings for everyone. I believe there was one other scoring change involving the Brewers' Mota that will be reflected tomorrow as well. Thanks for the reminder and all scoring changes will always be made after MLB has officially changed the OS ruling.

Thanks Greg! My ERA really appreciates it. Now if you could just do something about Bronson Arroyo...
