Just wondering if there is any word on when the winnings will be sent out. I still have not received mine.

As I stated on another thread, the goal is to get the checks out tomorrow as our company cuts checks each Friday from our Cincinnati office. I did not get an answer if they are going out tomorrow after inquiring today, but I'll try to get an update as soon as I can. If they don't go out on Friday, they will definitely go out on the 24th, but I'm doing all I can to get them sent out tomorrow.

Thanks! Okay, NFBC checks did not go out today, but I've been told they will go out no later than Friday, Oct. 24th. Those will be sent to each principle owner in an F+W Publications envelope, so look for them soon. We'll send an e-mail update on this, on the Registration page and more first thing next week.

Thanks all and congrats to our 300+ money winners. A total of $980,000 will be sent out next week.

Greg,

Thanks for the update--which also prompts a question. Does F&W Publications escrow the prize money or is it part of working capital and the prize winners are general creditors?

Obviously, with the credit meltdown in the financial markets-I've been asked more questions about the financial institution that employs me--I'm curious if the prize money is escrowed and only F&W's funds are removed from the entry fee.

I have great confidence in you and Tom, corporate America doen't give anyone a warm fuzzy feeling today.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance. The prize money for baseball and football is escrowed separately. Our baseball money is now ready to be delivered back to you this week as checks will go out on Friday. Congrats all and no problem on the question. I don't trust anyone outside of Tom to hold my money these days either. :D

I hope the checks can go out on Friday, 10/24. I have ants in my pants and want to see how fast I can lose half my winnings by investing in the stock market...
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Spend it wisely and make sure you save $1300 of that for an entry in next year's event. :D Congrats and good luck in 2009.
