Cut one of my guys please....

I'm thin at saves....and need to grab a long shot to take a closers role (or contribute even a little). Can I get a little feedback on my team as for someone to cut...or someone you think is obviously a liability. It was my first NFBC, but I'm giving you full permission to be mean

Not sure why you would need to post your whole team to get an answer? Delcarmen or Hoffpauir seem to be the obvious choices.

I guess I could have taken the top 12-15 picks out and asked the same question..

You don't need my (or anyone else's) help. You drafted a good team, obviously know what you are doing, so I would go with my gut.

The one piece of experience/advice I would offer is that MI and CM with full or near-full time jobs are hard to come by, especially ones with any opportunity to contribute. Your outfield is also a little thin in numbers of individuals, especially if Stewart does not land a 500+AB job. I would therefore keep Sanchez, Hall, and Anderson.

Good luck!

Thanks Wayne, I'm going to keep an eye out for someone who can give me a couple saves, and when found, drop Delcarmen. I'm hoping that Burrell can make a .260BA in his new lineup, and that Stewart and Overbay have decent years. I'm on here daily so if some FA becomes available I'm ready to pounce.

Cheers

First Off,

Welcome to the boards! Don't worry about feeding the bears around here - they're friendly and helpful for the most part. Delcarmen and Hoccawhatever should definitley be the first ones to go. I am assuming that is JOHN Baker not Jeff as your 1st C. Bill Hall, Anderson and Sanchez are a good bench that you will need so hang on to them for now. That is a nice P staff - so I think that Jon Garland could be expendable for a closer in waiting type like Villanueva/Tyler Walker/ Jensen Lewis etc.

Good Luck and keep on posting.

Yup, John Baker...

My FA pool should be open in the next couple of days, then I'll start digging.
