I would like to see what you professionals would do in my situation. I am in a 5x5 Keeper League. The draft is an auction. There are 12 teams.I have 11 keepers but can only keep 10. Here we go.
$21 Beltran
$16 Abreu
$1 Tejada
$8 Santana
$7 Blalock
$3 Patterson
$15 Ramirez
$6 Drew
$11 V Wells
These guys I want to keep. I am not a fan of keeping starting pitching, but I have to keep Santana. I have Schilling at $12 and Rollins at $8. I love Rollins potential and Schilling is 38 yrs old. I can get Schilling back or Oswalt, Hudson, Pedro, Mulder, or Contreras for $40 or so. Just kidding about Contreras!!! Any insight would be helpful because I tend to fall in love with my player.

Rollins at $8 would add nicely to your team. The guy stole 30 bases, hit .289, scored 119 runs and set career highs in HRs (14) and RBIs (73). Plus he's only 26, which is even better in a keeper league. It's a no-brainer.

Tejada for a dollar? Try again.

some of those dollar values do seem a little low. Let me rephrase, some of them seem really low

The league I am in is 10 years old. Tejada has been around 4 years or so. He wasn't always this good. I actually got him in an offseason trade straight up for M Rivera...

Keeper league for how many years?, since birth. I am in keeper leagues every year and could never get Tejada for $1, even when he was 5 years old

Bobby J and BalticSquid. Who would you keep out of those 11 guys? That was the whole point of the post. The guy who gave me Tejada dropped out this year (for obvious reason) So to answer your question Baltic Squid, YES there is a spot avaliable. I see you are from NYC we draft in Western Nassau on March 20th...

GCA..I understand the original question and I think others answered it the same way I would. I can't believe the league is still intact if this is the team you have. I do not have any reason not to believe you, but Tejada as a rookie was worth more than $1.

Bobby J actually 2 people who know a little something about Fantasy Sports responded with their opinions. I dont understand why you are so hung up on Tejada at a buck? Are you new to the game? Can you not understand that THE LEAGUE IS 10 YEARS OLD??? I will say it again 10 YEARS OLD!!!

Bobby J do you remember how Albert Pujols came out of no where a few years back? Would you find it hard to believe he was a buck. That year he wasnt drafted in most leagues. Can you understand this???

U still cant seem to explain a guy like tejada , who has been a top player for about 6 years now ????? o and now the guy who gave him to u quits the league? sounds like a great league ...also i know u posted a question , but when u give the facts guys are going to react to such outrageous facts such as $1 tejada

Nothing wrong with the league dude. Players come and go all the time. We have had 12 teams for 10 years now. Sorry you are too narrow minded to see that it is possible Tejada was drafted at a buck. FYI Arod and Guerrero are a buck too.

We do not have contracts.
Keeper Advice
I guess I am new to all this then. I have never been in an auction league that has keepers that do not have contracts. So you get a player as a rookie for $1 and you keep him for life, what kind of league is this?. Why are you the only one not getting this?. Anyone that did not draft Pujols in his rookie season is blind, he hit a bunch of homers in the exhibition season.

a no contract keeper league, that might be a 1st
Keeper Advice
Since only a couple of people answered about who to keep. I like the 9 listed and Rollins. They are all very low priced. What is the cap total $260, if so you have plenty of room to make this team even better

Baltic Squid please join my league if you think it is easy cash. It is apparent you know nothing about the game. Your from NYC. Bring it on... $750 entry fee we draft in western nassau.
