This could allow for Kendrys Morales to sign with the Mets who's first round pick is protected.

It could.
More than likely though, Morales signs after the draft.

With who? I am a bit surprised we are not hearing Yankee rumors with all their injuries. Teixeira is always hurt. They have decent pitching and a better offense than I thought.

It could be anybody by that time.
The Yankees won't sign him unless Teixeira goes out for the year.

The Mutts just got rid of a superfluous firstbaseman. Why pick up another? Duda...Duda...Duda (at least I hope so for the sake of my Auction Team). Maybe no longer being asked to play the outfield, Duda can play to his potential (and hopefully the 0-3 from last night is not the max of his potential).
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
