Ike Davis to the Pirates
This could allow for Kendrys Morales to sign with the Mets who's first round pick is protected.

More than likely though, Morales signs after the draft.

With who? I am a bit surprised we are not hearing Yankee rumors with all their injuries. Teixeira is always hurt. They have decent pitching and a better offense than I thought.DOUGHBOYS wrote:It could.Deadheadz wrote:This could allow for Kendrys Morales to sign with the Mets who's first round pick is protected.

It could be anybody by that time.
The Yankees won't sign him unless Teixeira goes out for the year.

The Mutts just got rid of a superfluous firstbaseman. Why pick up another? Duda...Duda...Duda (at least I hope so for the sake of my Auction Team). Maybe no longer being asked to play the outfield, Duda can play to his potential (and hopefully the 0-3 from last night is not the max of his potential).Deadheadz wrote:This could allow for Kendrys Morales to sign with the Mets who's first round pick is protected.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
