If there is a group that I don't think are doing any illegals, it would be my plus sized group. This would only pertain to the heavy's that are under 30, after they hit 30, maladies come into play and athletes will resort to anything to lengthen their career. My group also doesen't include catchers, sorry Bengie, who are a different breed.

So, my group would include stars such as Ryan Howard, CC, and Prince. These guys are more interested about what goes in their mouths over what gets injected in their ass.

While on Prince...my daughter is a vegetarian, I know other vegetarians, Prince, you are no vegetarian.

Maybe at home in front of the wife he is. Or, maybe, while the rest of the Brewers are standing in line for an injection, Prince is going for two Whoppers and upsized fries at Burger King.

He has not given up the buffet, however.

As a Phillie fan I am biased, however I'm pretty sure the bulk of Howard's career has been after testing has been in place. When you also factor in the fact that he has 2 older brothers that are even bigger than him....well I believe in Big Ryan.

How about Killebrew i would bet my house he was clean his whole career.Just a great guy and my favorite power hitter of all time.Eight times he hit over 40 homers and a career high 49 in his mvp 1969 season. Harmon Clayton Killebrew.

Sad the list of 500 HR players from the current past players get smaller and smaller. I think the true list of 500 HR hitters is down to Griffey Jr, Thomas and Thome. As a big Thomas fan I'm happy he has never been linked to Roids. The guy can be an ass but at least he was not cheating.

While more and more big name guys get called out the one I will never forget is Ken Caminiti.

Here's the first lineup for Manny's 50-game suspension:

Furcal, SS

Hudson, 2B

Ethier, RF

Loney, 1B

Martin, C

Kemp, CF

Blake, 3B

Wolf, P

Pierre, LF

So the 4th through 9th hitters all moved up one spot, and Pierre takes over the 9th spot.

A friend of mine said he heard Killebrew on a radio interveiw and was asked about roids and he said he would have hit 700-800 HR's with all of his fly balls getting caught on the warning track.

snord- on frank thomas- the 3 times i was around him he was very nice. twice at dunkin donuts by my house and once in vegas. he comes into mandalay bays health clubs locker room and the guy tells him no lockers are available. he sits down quietly and waits. did not even know who he was. real nice guy- not a muscle on him btw. my guess- he, thome and griffey are clean. harmon played in som bad parks also. much much harder to hit 'em out then.

also- with kemp slumping- i am surprised joe doesn't have him hitting 9th. if micah played for tony larusa he would bat 4th.

I have met Mr.Killebrew.Great guy,Reminded me of my grandfather. But,my point is you can not KNOW what was done in the previous eras.People like to look at the old days with romance. But,players played for money, they held out, they cheated in those old days also.Roids existed at that time.Perhaps it is a leap to say they were used. But,you can not KNOW.I do know many players used illegal drugs, many players cheated. But,I loved that game and I love this game. The players today are bigger, faster, and stronger.Enjoy the game.
