Team name: AARP? Before he selected Ibanez, I told the owner prior to him to hurry up so the above owner could select Alfonso Soriano.

He also has Derrek Lee. Greg can you send a new magazine to him? :D

I think Matt Holiday at pick 32 is great value.

FreddieZee, thanks for the compliment.

I'm the owner who picked all the old guys. I've now also got Vladamir Guerrero on my team.

This is the same strategy I used last year. Two stud pitchers, then some good reliable hitters. My top 7 picks from last year were: J Santana, Sabathia, Bay, Mauer, Delgado, Dye, Damon. Only Delgado was a bust.

People laughed at my draft last year too but I tied for first place.

Toxic - That's pretty impressive! Was that team drafted in a main event league last year or in a satellite league? Also, weren't Santana and Dye at least a bit of a bust last year?

FZ - It was a slow draft. I haven't done the big money league yet...

Last season, Santana gave me good numbers before he got hurt for the last month or so. Dye gave me power although his BA wasn't good.

It seems like Lance Berkman might have one of the biggest variances among players with an ADP of 90 or less.

I know Tommy Hanson is Baseball Jesus and all, but the fact that he's being taken 13 spots ahead of Johan Santana is insane.

This was a strange first 6 rounds of a draft

Good Value

27. Matt Holliday

66. Nelson Cruz

71. Andre Ethier

74. Johan Santana

89. Shin-Soo Choo

Dont Get It At That Spot

45. Lance Berkman

46. Derrek Lee

47. Alexei Ramirez

70. Asdrubal Cabrera

[/QUOTE]It's some of that and some of a reactionary response to Hanson. Hanson has great stuff and a solid future, but he his delivery is very violent, he pitched 50 innings more last year than in 2008, and is 23 years old. I'd say the odds of throwing 180+ innings are less than 50/50. Santana may have around the same odds.

You could make the same argument as to Josh Johnson with Hanson. Johnson is going about 7 spots behind Hanson on average in the slow drafts and I have no idea why

If all three pitched 180 innings next year, how would you rank them?

Not picking on you. Just wondering if you expect Santana to pitch as well as before the injury or expect Johnson and Hanson to regress.
