Okay, the draft picks have been selected and Geoff Stein is ready to send out invites for this draft on MockDraftCentral.com. It will start on Thursday morning, Jan. 7th. Good luck all.

Okay, KDS was interesting for this league. Even though we had five owners go straight 1-15, we still finished with a solid preference received of 4.07, among the best so far this season. That means on average each owner got his fourth preference.

Here's a look at the 15 KDS selections and some analysis:

** The average KDS preference received was 4.07.

** Three owners got their first preference, two got their second preference and three got their third preference. 11 of 15 owners got a Top 5 preference. The worst preferences received were 7,8,9.

** 13 of 15 owners had No. 1 as their top preference.

Third slow draft this season I have seen Emory Upchurh have pick # 9.

Watch out guys, he has had a lot of practice from the 9 hole.

Slo drafts are a different animal aren't they?

The biggest differince for me is too much time to decide between two or three players and the time to doubt that pick afterwards.

In a regular draft, there is no time for much debate or doubt since building the team is the primary focus.

Anybody else have a different perspective during slo drafts compared to normal drafts?

my best response to this is to say i hoped i learned enough last year to compete against the likes of SC, Q, and RT again this year.

I agree--having hours to mull over your decision can be painful, whether of the 'why did I pick Chris Davis in the 4th round?' variety or of the 'how the heck do I fix my mistake' kind. Especially so when the cast of characters are delighting in your pain via the chat room.

No way is Albert worthy of a #1 pick. Best to let him slide to around 1.9 or so...
