Okay, KDS was interesting for this league. Even though we had five owners go straight 1-15, we still finished with a solid preference received of 4.07, among the best so far this season. That means on average each owner got his fourth preference.
Here's a look at the 15 KDS selections and some analysis:
1,6,5,4,3,2,12,11,10,9,8,7,13,14,15

Third slow draft this season I have seen Emory Upchurh have pick # 9.
Watch out guys, he has had a lot of practice from the 9 hole.
Emory, you are one lucky guy!

Slo drafts are a different animal aren't they?
The biggest differince for me is too much time to decide between two or three players and the time to doubt that pick afterwards.
In a regular draft, there is no time for much debate or doubt since building the team is the primary focus.
Anybody else have a different perspective during slo drafts compared to normal drafts?

Anybody else have a different perspective during slo drafts compared to normal drafts? I agree--having hours to mull over your decision can be painful, whether of the 'why did I pick Chris Davis in the 4th round?' variety or of the 'how the heck do I fix my mistake' kind. Especially so when the cast of characters are delighting in your pain via the chat room.

Wasn't sure where to post this...but loved todays quote...
Ahhh...nothing like the yearly hype of the off-season to warm up your frozen bones.
"I just got a report that he's throwing the living fire out of the ball down in the Dominican (Republic)," said Twins manager Ron Gardenhire. "He threw eight innings the other day, and his fastball was 92 to 94 (mph) and his slider was filthy ."

Barring unforeseen news today, Team Waz would like to welcome "Fat Albert" to the club!

No way is Albert worthy of a #1 pick. Best to let him slide to around 1.9 or so...
