We're happy to report that Ron Shandler of BaseballHQ.com will be competing in the NFBC Main Event on Saturday, March 27th at Citi Field in New York. Ron is one of the most recognizable players in the industry, a LABR League original member, the founder of Tout Wars, the founder of the Arizona Fall League Symposium, the founder of BaseballHQ that eventually led to BaseballHQ.com, the founder of the First Pitch Forums, founder of the Baseball Forecaster and more. He's won a lot of industry league titles and now his schedule finally allows him to play in the NFBC's main event.
Ron will be drafting with Dave Adler and he has a very cool idea that involves his staff. I'll let him explain that when he wants, but it will definitely lead to some cool content on the BaseballHQ.com site. I'm excited about that.
Even more exciting is that any money won by Ron in the main event will be donated to charity. He's here for the competition and will gladly give his winnings to a good cause. And I KNOW he plans on winning!!

Awesome on doing that Ron and good luck.
We're honored to have Ron in our competition and I think drafting at his beloved Mets' home field had something to do with it!!

But honestly with the NFBC hosting this a week later than past years it allows Ron to finish up his First Pitch forums and join us on Draft Day. He's also in New York for the Tout Wars auctions, so this is all working out fine. Welcome to the NFBC family Ron and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $100,000 grand prize and the $5,000 league prize.
