-----------------------------------------------
The numbers say it all, or at least most of it. The Royals GM should be pounded into silly putty on these boards. With a payroll not near the bottom --- another terrible team took the field in 2010. Look at some of the teams BELOW the Royals in payroll....Rangers (made the World Series), Reds (division winner), Marlins (competitive year after year), A's (many good finishes since Billy Beane took over as GM). Meanwhile the Royals play terrible baseball every single year (if my memory is right, I think the last time they made the playoffs was 1985 when they won the series). The Pirates are another joke, they never should have given them a brand new ballpark. They should have build ONE ballpark in Pittsburgh for the Steelers only since Pittsburgh may be the BEST football town in America and possibly the WORST baseball town.
